Hiding Sections Until You're Ready to Launch
Just launched your account, but only your profile and newsletter are ready?
You can keep any section hidden from your public profile until you're ready
to show it — while you keep full access to build it out in your dashboard.
How it works
- Go to Settings → General
- Find the Public Sections panel in the Visibility box
- Uncheck any section you're not ready to launch (Store, Donations & Campaigns, Events, Posts, Pages, Newsletter)
- Click Save Visibility
While a section is hidden:
- It disappears from your public profile, navigation, footer, search, and sitemap
- Visitors with a direct link are redirected to your profile with a friendly notice
- Your dashboard is unchanged — add products, draft campaigns, and schedule events behind the scenes. A banner on those dashboard pages reminds you (and your team) that the section isn't public yet
- Forms you've embedded on your own website keep working, and so do the hosted signup and donation form links you share directly (the "/subscribe/..." and "/donate/..." URLs) — hiding a section only affects your Equipoise profile
When you're ready to launch, check the box again and save. Everything
you built appears instantly.
Good to know
- Every section starts visible — you only need this if you want to hide something
- Customers mid-purchase are never interrupted: anything already in a cart can finish checking out, and payment receipts always display
- Hiding a section is not the same as deactivating products or events — it's a curtain, not a delete
